HOW TO UNLOCK YOUR MODEM

The following tutorial would put you through on how to unlock your modem,most times the available modem we get to buy are actually restricted to a single network,such that we only make use of the designated network internet service to surf the internet

  You don't have to worry following the tutorial below you should be able to unlock your modem yourself making it look like a universal modem

METHOD:

1. Check for brand of your modem (Huawei, ZTE, e.t.c)
 Note: software require might actually differs but the stated procedure works for all modem.

2. Check for your modem's IMEI number.(it a 15 digit number)..write down this number correctly.

3.Download the unlocking software for your own modem.download the software

4. Install the software which your have downloaded and run it,during the process it requires you to submit the IMEI numbers which you wrote down in step 2 above. on supplying that it then generate for you an unlocking 4-6 digit  needed code from the IMEI number,copy that.

5. Now insert your sim into the modem,and insert the modem into a computer,it then demand for the 4-6 digit code generated in step 4 above, supply it then you are good to go.

 NOTE:
   some network service may need you to create a new profile configuration, supplying their correct APNs, and to do that On the modem interface, go to Tools, then Profile Management, then New. Insert the new network's settings viz APN, username and password. Then Save. Then from the connect window, ensure you select the new profile/network and connect.
