After salvation,the most important choice you need to make is who to marry. This is so important that if you miss it you will suffer long, if you get it right you will enjoy forever. But many has taken the marriage issue with levity, that why we now have homes that are broken, homes that are divided, divided in-sense that we don't know if both parties are actually married, because right there at home they hardly talk to each other, even the children are psychologically affected. it a wake up call for present youth hoping to get married soon to make it a priority to avoid a bad marriage.
A bad marriage can affect every area of one's life. if you are single please dont just be in a hurry to mingle or to get married, emphatically, you have the best opportunity to prepare for it. for two people to come together to live in peace and harmony, they must agree spiritually, mentally and physically,just like an elephant cannot marry an ant. How would they live??. Many has taken the spiritual aspect off and believe to get married is a thing of calculations, some just think its just all about adding figures together and get the proposed answer, "NEVER" it does not work like that. you have to pray, about who you are having in mind, if God has plans for you both.
You must look for a Godly man or woman,nothing can beat this. The devil primary target is a family. he knows everyone belongs to a family, if he can make two wrong people to meet,then he has succeeded in affecting them, that is why seeking Gods concept on who to marry cannot be over emphasized.
Ignore your age and peer pressure at the moment. The pressure in a wrong marriage is far worse,God has somebody for you, but you must set your priorities right, unless you miss God plan for you, or you end up changing Gods plan about your marital life.
What do you need in a woman?? what do you need in man?? marriage is not about what you want, it is about what you need that will make you better while you make him better. It is about your destiny. This is why you must know you purpose before you get married. Genesis 2:18 you must pray before you choose...
God knows the best person for you. it is only wise to seek his will. it is very easy to know his will when "sex" is not involved.. the moment sex is involved he will blank you out,why because you have broken his first law of no sex before marriage. if you had had sex in the past you need to repent totally and stay away from each other for some time,then you can seek the face of God...
Your marriage will not be hell on earth, your marriage will be honourable in the name of Jesus Christ, Don't marry for sex, don't marry because you are of age, don't marry because you are getting old or because you are lonely, don't marry because you need someone to support you financially, don't marry because you don't want to loose the person, don't marry because all your friends are getting married, don't marry a man who gets angry at every little thing, dont marry a man who sees you as his maid and not his mate...
But get married because you want to fulfill destiny, get married because you want to become a help mate, get married to the one who makes you happy and gives you so much peace of mind....Let his will be done..
